Here is what people are saying.......

Excellent class and instructor; I learned more from Kerry re: Pelvic floor than I did from a doctor and a pelvic floor specialist. the handouts are excellent and usable to incorporate in daily life.

It was so nice to find a dedicated environment in which to discuss pelvic floor health! This workshop definitely helped me understand that PF health is about much, much more than endless Kegels…

Intro to Yoga for Pelvic Floor

Join Iyengar Yoga Instructor, Kerry Doyle for this workshop to learn more about the pelvic floor and an introduction about how to practice yoga to restore and tone these important muscles.
Pelvic floor muscles can be overly loose or even too tight. The stress of childbirth, changes that occur with menopause, and health or sexual history have an effect on these important, yet little known muscles and their ligaments.
A toned and balanced pelvic floor nurtures hormonal wellness, allows for healthy function of reproductive and excretory organs, and provides postural support.
In this workshop you will:
• Learn basic anatomy of the pelvic floor
• Gain understanding about influence of pelvic floor on physical/physiological functions
• Experience breath exercise to access and relax these deep muscles
• Practice basic yoga poses to help balance and tone the pelvic floor

Includes detailed anatomy, handouts

A Few FACTS

In many European countries, postpartum or pelvic PT is the STANDARD OF CARE and provides important support for women following childbirth.

An estimated 13 million Americans struggle with incontinence. This number is likely under-reported.

Realigning and toning the pelvic floor can be helpful for postpartum support, menopausal women, prostate issues, incontinence, and pelvic pain
