Join Patricia Walden, one of the senior most Iyengar teachers in the U.S., for a 3-day In-person retreat in the beautiful Monadnock region of New Hampshire. Embark on an inward journey through Patricia’s artful guidance, where students move beyond the surface layers of their physical forms. They explore the innermost self—the core of their being.

ABOUT PATRICIA Patricia first met BKS Iyengar in 1976 and has been a devoted student and beloved teacher since that time. She aspires to teach in a way where students feel seated in their hearts and fearless.

THE LOCATION – Nestled in the heart of southern New Hampshire, the Monadnock region boasts beautiful views of the majestic Mt. Monadnock. Nearby, the charming towns of Harrisville, Peterborough, Hancock, Dublin and Keene are vibrant hubs of creativity, offering a rich tapestry of art galleries, studios, and cultural events. Explore the natural beauty and artistic spirit that make this area truly special!. Enjoy swimming in nearby lakes, take a hike on surrounding trails, visit local art studios or take a or walk in one of our the scenic villages.

Friday & Saturday- Morning Asana Class – 10:00 am – 12:30(ish) pm, Break/Lunch 12:30-3:45 pm BREAK, Afternoon Session (Pranayama/Restorative) -4:00-6:00 pm
Sunday 10:00-1:00 pm – Asana Class

Pre-requisites

This retreat is for Intermediate & Advanced practitioners with the following requirements:

  • Be able to hold Sirsasana for 5 minutes
  • Sarvangasana for 10 minutes
  • Push up multiple times from the floor or chair into Urdhva Dhanurasana
  • Take care of their own injuries,
  • Have experience with foundational pranayamas (Ujjayi, Viloma I & II) and some experience with digital pranayama
