Asana, Pranayama and Dhyana: Doorways to the Self

“In [daily] life, the brain and the heart exist as separate entities with little commonality. We live with tremendous disparity between intellect and emotion. The true art of meditation is to unify these two. This is when the state of Dhyana is attained – the state where the Self, hitherto perceived as shackled and limited, radiates in boundless glory.” ~ BKS Iyengar

Join Patricia Walden, one of Guruji’s Senior teachers to explore how the practice of asana and pranayama can open doorways to connect with one’s deeper Self. The daily life of a modern yoga practitioner can bring about feelings of confusion, disconnection and uncertainty. The journey of yoga provides a portal that, when opened, establishes a clear connection and communion between one’s outer world and innermost core.
